The New bn2-20 & bn2-20a
Roland recently revealed their new print and cut machines; the BN2-20 and the BN2-20A! Both machines are an upgrade of the original desktop eco-solvent BN20 machine and the recently released BN20-A. The new compact machines are said to print faster, are easy to use, and have many new features! Check out Roland’s website for more details. While the original BN20 was upgraded just about a year ago, these new machines are a complete remake of what I like to call one of the greatest desktop print and cut machines on the market!

My Thoughts on the BN2?
So many of you have emailed and tagged me in posts about the new machine! I’m very excited about it honestly. The BN20s are great for smaller businesses just starting out or those who have a home office, like myself. The new BN2s are compact and affordable. After watching a few of Roland’s videos, the set up looks very easy too! FlexiDESIGNER is included, alongside VersaWorks. I really like that the media is front loading and ink is accessible from the front. For me, this is great since I do not have much space in my home studio. Also, maintenance would be SO much easier! I will always be a fan of the VersaSTUDIO printers, they work so well within my small business. Some have said Roland missed the mark on making this new version 24″ however, the 20″ media has never been an issue for me. My Roland dealer and supplier is more than happy to cut down any media to fit my machine.
