Struggling to prepare your design files for your eco-solvent print and cut machine? Most professional machines require professional design programs. Yes, there are ways to use crafting programs to add your cutlines however they require too many steps and can be tricky when dealing with JPG or PNG files.
Let me teach you how to add cut lines to your PNG, JPG, EPS, and SVG files for your eco-solvent print and cut machine. I’ll introduce you to Adobe Illustrator and show you how to quickly take your files from digital to physical! You will need a subscription to Adobe Illustrator and access to Zoom video conferencing. I highly recommend you attend this virtual class on your laptop or desktop. A recording of the class will be provided for future reference. Classes are held at EST time.
What you’ll learn:
- an introduction to Illustrator’s design face
- how to add your Roland BN20 cutcontour swatches to Illustrator
- how to import your file to Illustrator
- how to vectorize PNG and JPG files
- add cutlines for your Roland DGA machines
- how to properly save your files
Please plan to spend at least an hour in our Zoom to learn the proper techniques. Each class is 60 minutes. We will begin with an introduction, followed by preparing your files, and wrapping up with a quick Q&A. If you are needing further help you may book a One on One video call with me here.
